This series of paintings was completed from November to December 2022, during the lockdown period in Guangzhou, and I started painting in a state of extreme despair and confusion. I used painting to kill time and relieve anxiety. I kept drawing until the day when the lockdown was lifted. On December 3rd, I erased the last two unpainted boards, because I suddenly didn't want to paint anymore.

The series is called 'Am I Gonna Die Here?' which was the biggest fear in my heart when I was locked up at home alone for months.
